Service employee
We are looking for reinforcement in our service team. Restaurant Chung is known for its Peking duck and fine wines.
In the wait staff position, you will be responsible for your own area in the restaurant.
Have you always wanted to work in an asian fusion restaurant? Then you are at the right place at Restaurant Chung. Our guests come especially for the Peking duck menu or like to be surprised with the menu of the Chef. The roots of the kitchen are Asian but with a Rotterdam twist. Service and food are the most important things at Restaurant Chung.
At Restaurant Chung, you go the extra mile to ensure our guests have an unforgettable evening.
We like it if you already have some experience in the hospitality industry and have basic knowledge of wines. Most important to us is your drive and enthusiasm for the profession, because what you don't know, we can teach you!
What are your primary duties?
- An employee for 32-36 hours per week
- Taking care of the mise en place
- Taking and serving out orders
- Advise the guest on his beverage and menu choices and make suggestions
- Dealing with the POS system
- Setting up tables for next guest
- Taking table reservations
- Preparing bills and settling with guests
